Eligibility Criteria – To be eligible for a Universität Hamburg Scholarship an applicant must:
- Have been enrolled in their field at University Hamburg for at least two semesters and are working towards an academic degree (students enrolled in master’s programs that last two years as well as doctoral researchers may apply after one semester has been completed)
- Do not hold German citizenship.
No of Scholarship – 2–3 merit scholarships
Stipend – Students selected for this scholarship will receive funding as below –
- The maximum monthly funding sum is €930.
- Doctoral researchers may be awarded a merit scholarship totaling €1,200 per month.
Application Deadline – The application deadlines are:
- 15 April (funding period: 1 October – 30 September of the same year)
- 15 October (funding period: 1 April – 31 March of the following year
