About the Fellowship – The Deakin University Postdoctoral Research Fellowship 2025 is available for those pursuing a Postdoc degree in the fields of Medicine, Nursing, Psychology, or Public Health at the university. The Deakin University Postdoctoral Research Fellowships (DUPRF) are intended to build research and innovation capability and excellence and create impact in strategic priority research strengths at Deakin University. Deakin University also provides Executive Dean of Health Research Fellowships. Fellowships, like DUPRFs, aim to enhance research and innovation capacity and excellence. Innovation and influence throughout the Health Faculty. These Fellowships aim to provide assistance and nurture the careers of those in the early stages of their profession. Researchers aim to cultivate the future generation of accomplished and globally competitive researchers in the field of health research. This scholarship is open for all nationals.
Eligibility Criteria – To be eligible for the fellowship a candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants can be of any nationality.
- Applicants must have been awarded a PhD on or after 1st January 2021.
- Applicants are allowed career interruptions subject to certain conditions.
- Applicants must document any career interruptions relevant to their eligibility within the application form.
- Applicants who held Deakin University Postdoctoral Research Fellow and/or Executive Dean of Health Research Fellow in the past are not eligible.
