About the Scholarship – The University of Auckland Senior Health Research Scholarship is available for both domestic and international students who are paying domestic fees. It aims to assist health professionals who are returning to university to pursue a doctorate in health-related fields. The primary aim of the scholarship is to offer financial assistance to health professionals, enabling them to pursue a doctoral degree in health-related fields at the university. This scholarship is open to all nationals.
Eligibility Criteria – To be eligible for the scholarship a candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Applying to Degree of Doctor of Philosophy or MD in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences or Liggins Institute.
- Domestic and domestic fee-paying international students.
- Applicants should have worked for at least three years as a health professional.
