Aston University is thrilled to offer scholarships specifically for students from Africa and India who wish to pursue studies in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Psychology in 2024/25.

About the Scholarship – Ferguson Postgraduate Taught Scholarship at Aston University 2024. The Ferguson Scholarship offers seven scholarships of £10,500 each for the 2024/25 academic year. These scholarships are exclusively available to students from Africa and India. These scholarships are supported by the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust who are dedicated to improving educational opportunities for students. The Ferguson Scholarships are available to students applying for one of the following postgraduate taught programmes:
- MSc Drug Delivery
- MSc Pharmaceutical Sciences
- MSc Pharmacokinetics
- MSc Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine
- MSc Psychology (Conversion programme)
- MSc Health Psychology
- MSc Neuroscience for Drug Discovery
Eligibility Criteria – To be eligible for the Ferguson Postgraduate Taught Scholarship, candidates must:
- You must hold a conditional or unconditional offer for one of the above courses
- Be a national from India or an African country
- Hold a 2:1 degree or equivalent in a relevant subject for the course you are applying for
- Provide a strong personal statement when submitting your course application
- Be a self-funded student
No of Scholarship – 7
Stipend – Partial funding £10,500 towards MSc tuition fees only. It does not include all expenses such as accommodation, transportation, and other costs related to university.
