About Chongqing Medical University – Chongqing Medical University (CQMU) previously referred to as the Chongqing University of Medical Sciences (CQUMS), was established in 1956 in Chongqing, China. It was originally a branch of the Shanghai First Medical College now named the Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University. It is one of approximately 30 medical universities in China that are approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education to enroll foreign students into the English-medium MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) program. It is recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the ECFMG (Educational Committee for Foreign Medical Graduates) in the United States.
About the Scholarship – Students who have been accepted to the university must pay tuition fees for the first year before the scholarship results are announced. The first year will receive 10,000 RMB.
Eligibility Criteria – In order to be considered for a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery scholarship a candidates must:
- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and be in good health
- Education background and age limit:
Applicants for undergraduate program must have senior high school diploma with good academic performance and be under the age of 25.

Stipend – 10000 RMB ( For first year ) For those students who got accepted by university, they need to pay 1 year tuition fee first, then the scholarship result will be set out.
