About School of International Biodesign– School of International Biodesign ‘SiB’ (formerly known as Stanford-India Biodesign) is a flagship program of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. SIB is based at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, and is administered in collaboration between AIIMS, New Delhi, and IIT Delhi.
About the fellowship – SIB is inviting aspiring professionals eager to bring meaningful change to the MedTech industry. The SIB Innovation Fellowship presents a distinctive chance to innovate medical devices targeting unmet clinical needs. The program nurtures fellows to create intellectual property and form MedTech startups.
Eligibility – Bachelors/Master’s in Medicine/Science (even Engineering or Business graduates can also apply).
Duration – 1 year from May 2024. Extendable for another year.
Stipend – Rs 60,000/month
No of positions – 8
